GREEN HORSE ART

Green Horse Art is an artist collective set up by Ryszard Rybicki in 2013. Our long-term goal is promoting art and facilitating direct art sales through auctions and exhibitions.

Our first initiative was a charity auction in support of event rider Emily Baldwin’s Olympic dream. Over 40 artists donated their art works which were sold at the auction on the 12 September 2013 and we succeeded in raising nearly £14,000 for a new horse for Emily.

Then we worked together with The Children’s Trust on another fundraising auction. The Children’s Trust is a UK leading charity providing care, rehabilitation and education for children with brain injury, multiple disabilities and complex health needs. The donated works of art can be seen in the Gallery. They were auctioned on the 3 April 2014 in Mary Ward House, Bloomsbury. Kaddy Lee-Preston conducted the auction and all sales proceeds of nearly £5,000 went directly to The Children’s Trust.

Our current project is an art exhibition presenting works of Simon Chinnery, Ryszard Rybicki and Jane Bolden. The show is taking place at The Framers Gallery, 36 Windmill Street, W1T 2JT between 24 April and 9 May 2014. Private View on Thursday, 24 April at 6pm. RSVP to greenhorseart@gmail.com
